2019–2024 Second generation (CD4) facelift

6 modifications · Ford gave the second-generation Edge a facelift for 2019, updating the styling and trim lineup while keeping the same CD4 platform. The refreshed Edge continued to be sold in the United States through the end of production. This was the final major update for the model before discontinuation.

2015–2018 Second generation (CD4)

10 modifications · The second-generation Ford Edge launched for the 2015 model year with a larger body and a new CD4 platform. It continued as a two-row midsize crossover and was sold in the United States. This generation marked a major redesign from the original Edge.

2011–2014 First generation (CD3) facelift

11 modifications · Ford updated the first-generation Edge for 2011 with a facelift that refreshed the exterior and modernized the cabin. The revised model continued the same CD3-based architecture and remained on sale in the United States. This phase carried the first-generation Edge through the end of its run.

2007–2010 First generation (CD3)

2 modifications · The original Ford Edge debuted for the 2007 model year as Ford’s midsize crossover SUV. It was built on the CD3 platform and was sold in the United States from launch. This first-generation Edge established the model’s two-row, car-based crossover format.
