2021–2024 Sixth generation (U725)

24 modifications · Ford revived the Bronco name for the sixth generation in 2021 as a modern body-on-frame midsize SUV. It was engineered for off-road use and launched in the U.S. with two- and four-door variants. This generation is still in production and remains on sale in the United States.

1992–1996 Fifth generation (U15)

5 modifications · The fifth-generation Bronco debuted for 1992 with another redesign of Ford's full-size SUV. It remained on the U.S. market through the 1996 model year, which became the final year of the original Bronco run. After 1996, Ford discontinued the Bronco name until its revival for 2021.

1987–1991 Fourth generation (U15)

9 modifications · Ford launched the fourth-generation Bronco for 1987 with a major redesign of the full-size SUV. It continued the F-Series-based layout and was sold in the U.S. through the 1991 model year. The next update for 1992 brought another redesign rather than a simple facelift.

8 modifications · The third-generation Bronco arrived for 1980 with a redesigned full-size body and continued the F-Series-based formula. It remained on sale in the U.S. through the 1986 model year. This generation established the Bronco shape that would carry into the late 1980s redesign.

1978–1979 Second generation (U15)

7 modifications · Ford replaced the original Bronco with a much larger second generation for 1978, moving it to a full-size SUV format based on the F-Series pickup architecture. This generation was sold in the United States for only two model years, 1978 and 1979. It was succeeded by the redesigned 1980 Bronco.

1966–1977 First generation (U15)

4 modifications · The original Ford Bronco launched for 1966 as a compact, body-on-frame 4x4 designed to compete with Jeep and International Harvester off-road vehicles. It was offered in multiple body styles during its run, including a roadster, wagon, and pickup-like half-cab. The first generation ended after the 1977 model year and was sold in the United States.
