1984–1990 First generation
15 modifications · The Bronco II debuted for 1984 as Ford’s compact SUV, using Ranger underpinnings and a shorter wheelbase than the full-size Bronco. It was sold in the U.S. from the start, initially in 4WD form, with 2WD versions added later in the run. The model remained in production through 1990 before being replaced by the Ford Explorer.
