Chevrolet Volt
First generation
The first-generation Chevrolet Volt debuted for the 2011 model year as a plug-in hybrid hatchback with an electric-drive system and gasoline range extender. It was sold in the United States and remained in production through the 2015 model year. This generation established the Volt nameplate as Chevrolet's early mainstream electrified model.
