1988–1993 GMT400 (GMT400)
13 modifications · The GMT400 Chevrolet K2500 Pickup introduced a new rounded full-size truck design for the 1988 model year in the U.S. market. It replaced the square-body truck and continued as Chevrolet’s 3/4-ton heavy-duty pickup through the early 1990s. This generation is the one reflected by the observed U.S. specification years through 1993.

1981–1987 Square-body (C/K)
2 modifications · Chevrolet’s square-body full-size pickup generation included the K2500 3/4-ton 4WD model in the U.S. market. This generation carried the traditional C/K truck architecture through the mid-1980s and remained the basis for Chevrolet heavy-duty pickups before the GMT400 redesign. The K2500 designation was part of Chevrolet’s truck lineup during this era, with the final U.S. model year for this body style ending in 1987.
