1982–1987 Fifth generation facelift

8 modifications · For 1982, Chevrolet updated the El Camino’s front-end styling and trim while keeping the same G-body foundation. This facelifted phase continued through the end of El Camino production after the 1987 model year.

5 modifications · The fifth-generation El Camino debuted for 1978 on GM’s G-body platform as a smaller, downsized coupe utility. It carried the original G-body styling through 1981 before a facelifted version appeared for 1982.
