2022–2024 G01 (G01) facelift
5 modifications · BMW gave the G01 X3 a facelift for the 2022 model year, updating the front and rear styling and revising the cabin and technology package. This refreshed version remains part of the U.S. X3 lineup and includes current gasoline and performance variants. It is the current production phase of the X3 in the United States.

2018–2021 G01 (G01)
6 modifications · The third-generation BMW X3 G01 arrived for the 2018 model year and became the basis for the modern U.S. X3 lineup. It introduced a new platform, updated chassis tuning, and a wider range of trims including performance and plug-in hybrid derivatives. This row covers the original G01 phase before the 2022 facelift.

2015–2017 F25 (F25) facelift
6 modifications · BMW refreshed the F25 X3 for the 2015 model year with updated exterior styling and revised technology. The facelifted version continued in the U.S. through the end of F25 production, including gasoline and diesel variants where offered. It was replaced by the G01 generation for 2018 model-year sales.

2007–2010 E83 (E83) facelift
9 modifications · BMW updated the first-generation X3 E83 for the 2007 model year with a mid-cycle facelift. In the U.S. market, this refreshed version carried revised styling and updated equipment through the end of E83 production. It remained on sale until the second-generation X3 replaced it for 2011 model-year duty.
