The original Bitter SC launched in 1986 as Bitter’s hand-built grand touring coupe. It used Opel mechanical underpinnings and a distinctive Italianate body designed to give the car a more exclusive appearance than its donor platform. Production was short-lived and the model is generally documented as a rare European-market specialty car.
